Supima cotton is a premium cotton variety grown exclusively in the United States. It's known for its exceptional softness, strength, and color retention. Supima is an extra-long staple (ELS) cotton, with fibers at least 1.5 inches long, compared to regular cotton's 1-inch fibers. This length gives Supima unique benefits: it's more durable, resistant to pilling, and holds dyes better, resulting in vibrant colors that last longer. The name "Supima" combines "superior" and "Pima," another type of ELS cotton.
