Can a T-Shirt Brand Hit ₹1 Crore in One Year?
Most people start a clothing brand without understanding product creation, sourcing, marketing, pricing, and brand building. This 100-day course is built to help you understand the path before you start working on it.
This course is created from the real experience of building and scaling Offnorth Fashions into a multi-crore clothing brand over the last 6+ years.
First, let’s be clear. What are we trying to achieve here?
We want to build a T-shirt brand and take it from zero to ₹1 crore revenue within 12 months, right? Sounds good.
So, let me ask you — do you truly believe that reaching ₹1 crore in 12 months is possible? Or is it just a number we’re loosely aiming at — like, “Okay, that’s the target, but I’ll be happy with 50–60–70% of it”? If that’s the mindset, I’ll be honest — we won’t hit ₹1 crore.
If you want to reach this target, you have to first believe we can make it.
When you strongly believe in something, trust me, the whole universe will conspire to make it happen for you. I’ve experienced this multiple times in my life, be it business building, marriage or anything else for that matter.
Today, I want you to believe that making a 1 crore revenue is not a big deal. It’s simple.
And trust me, this isn’t rocket science. ₹1 crore is not a big number in today’s world.
But, generally, if I ask you to believe, it may not work. Our minds need some clarity to believe in something. Let’s get that clarity.
What is 1 crore?
10000000 × 1 = 10000000
1000000 × 10 = 10000000
100000 × 100 = 10000000
10000 × 1000 = 10000000
1000 × 10000 = 10000000
100 × 100000 = 10000000
10 × 1000000 = 10000000
1 × 10000000 = 10000000
If you need to achieve 1 crore, you can sell 1 product worth 1 crore to 1 customer or can sell a product worth ₹1 to 1 crore people.
Right?
We are not selling a Land Rover Defender to sell 1 Defender to 1 customer to reach 1 crore revenue. Also, we are not selling shampoo to sell 1 crore items to 1 crore people to reach 1 crore revenue.
We are selling t-shirts.
Let’s just, for the time being, assume that our average product cost is ₹1000. How many t-shirts do we need to sell to reach 1 crore revenue?
1000 × 10000 = 10000000
We need to sell 10 thousand tees.
Now, it is in a year. Let’s break it down to months.
10000/12 = approximately 833 t-shirts per month.
Let’s still break it down further.
833 t-shirts per month is just 833/30 = 28 t-shirts per day.
Just 28 t-shirts sold per day means 1 crore a year in revenue. That’s that simple.
Shall we make it even simpler?
Yeah, let’s go.
Let’s assume one customer purchases 2 tees on average. In our brand, Offnorth Fashions, that is the number we are getting. One customer purchases 1.9 t-shirts on average.
If one customer buys two t-shirts, you need to acquire just 14 customers a day.
Sounds achievable?
Yeah!
I won’t stop here. Let’s break it down further.
Let’s say one customer buys 4 t-shirts on average in a year (he buys 2 times a year), over time, when you acquire more and more customers, your marketing builds on auto-pilot as the amount of effort to put becomes enormously low.
Now tell me — does that feel impossible? Or does it feel achievable?
Let’s start thinking from this perspective. Let’s work on a proper plan that can help us sell 30 T-shirts a day. Because once we do that, the ₹1 crore target will take care of itself.
What are your thoughts?
Do you still think ₹1 crore is massive? Or does selling 30 T-shirts a day sound like something we can absolutely do?
We've broken ₹1 crore into something surprisingly simple: Just 14 customers a day.
But here's the question nobody talks about.
If you had to find 14 paying customers tomorrow, where would you go?
The answer to that question can determine whether your brand grows steadily or struggles for years.
