100-Day Clothing Brand Building Course

The Best Way to Manage Your Brand’s Day-to-Day Numbers

Before We Begin

Most people start a clothing brand without understanding product creation, sourcing, marketing, pricing, and brand building. This 100-day course is built to help you understand the path before you start working on it.

This course is created from the real experience of building and scaling Offnorth Fashions into a multi-crore clothing brand over the last 6+ years.

One of the biggest mistakes I see new clothing brand founders make is not tracking their numbers properly.

They’ll tell me to check my Shopify dashboard. I look at my ad results. I think I know what’s going on.” But here’s the problem: every platform shows you a different piece of the puzzle.

Google Ads will tell you how many clicks you got from search.

Meta Ads will show you how many people saw your video and bought it.

Shopify will tell you the total sales. Google Analytics will tell you where the traffic came from.

But if you look at these platforms separately, you’ll never see the full picture. It’s like trying to watch a movie by looking at only one scene at a time.

When you combine all these numbers into one place, magic happens. You suddenly start to see patterns – which channels bring the highest-value customers, which products are actually profitable after ad spend, which sources are bringing more returning buyers, and where money is silently leaking out.

Now, there are fancy tools out there that promise to combine all your data automatically. The catch? Not all platforms give APIs that share every metric you need. That means some of the most valuable numbers, You still have to pull in manually.

That’s why my favourite tool is still Google Sheets.

It’s online, it’s collaborative, it’s endlessly customisable. You can connect it to certain tools, you can create beautiful charts, and you can slice the data any way you want.

And yes, you can do this in Excel too, but the live, shareable nature of Google Sheets makes it unbeatable for a growing brand.

I’ve spent months building my own Google Sheet dashboard that shows everything in one place – total orders, total sales, average product price, ad spend per channel, acquisition cost per order, returns, cancellations, prepaid vs COD split, even new vs returning customer revenue.

I can see whether my retention rate is healthy or if I need to focus more on acquiring fresh buyers. I can even see which channel is bringing the most profit, not just the most sales.

Yes, you’ll need to feed the data in manually. But it’s not as painful as it sounds. If you’re doing 5–10 orders a day, it’s 10–15 minutes of work. If you’re doing 20–30 orders, maybe 30–40 minutes and by that point, you’ll already have someone in your team (warehouse, support, or operations) who can do it.

And trust me, the insights you get will change the way you run your business. Because you’re not guessing anymore. You’re making decisions with full clarity.

Just don’t fall into the trap of “I’ll do it later.” Your numbers are your brand’s health check-up – skip it, and you might miss something critical until it’s too late.
