100-Day Clothing Brand Building Course

The Final Core Method – Paid Ads (But Only at the Right Time)

Before We Begin

Most people start a clothing brand without understanding product creation, sourcing, marketing, pricing, and brand building. This 100-day course is built to help you understand the path before you start working on it.

This course is created from the real experience of building and scaling Offnorth Fashions into a multi-crore clothing brand over the last 6+ years.

We’re talking about the fourth and final core marketing method – running paid ads.

This is usually the first step most brands jump into.
“Let’s run Instagram ads.”
“Let’s spend ₹1,000 per day and see what happens.”
“Let’s go viral overnight.”

But that’s not how we do things here.

For us, ads are not the first step – they’re the second or third.
First, you warm up your circle – the people who already know you.
Then, you build a community by sharing content, value, and stories.
Only after that do you introduce paid advertising to scale your reach.

To be honest, yes, you can start ads as your step two –  but don’t skip step one. Because if your foundation isn’t strong, no matter how good the ad, it’ll just burn your money.

🔹 Why Paid Ads?

Because they allow you to scale fast. Warm outreach and content marketing are powerful, but they take time. Paid ads let you reach 10,000+ people overnight – if done right. But that comes with a big “if.”

If done right.

If your targeting is clear, if your product positioning is strong, and if your offer is irresistible. If your landing page converts. If any one of those is broken, your ad will flop – even if your budget is ₹1 lakh.

🔹 So, what are “paid ads”?

It’s simple on the surface: You pay a platform (Meta, Google, X, LinkedIn, etc.) to show your message to people.

But here’s the key question: Where should YOU run ads for YOUR T-shirt brand?

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. It depends 100% on where your audience hangs out.

If you’re targeting working professionals, maybe LinkedIn and Google are best.
If you’re targeting college students, Instagram and YouTube Shorts will work better.
If you’re targeting gym lovers – maybe Instagram + YouTube.
If you’re targeting niche audiences – Reddit or Twitter/X could be powerful.

🔹 What matters more than the platform?

The message. The offer. The creative.

If your message speaks to their pain, if your creativity stands out, and if your offer feels like a no-brainer, then the ad will work. Even if your budget is just ₹300/day.

But if those aren’t clear, even ₹10,000/day won’t get you consistent sales. You already finalized your ad platforms a few days back – so that’s sorted. The groundwork is done.

In the coming days, we’ll go deep into each of the major platforms – especially Google, Meta, and a couple of other channels that work really well for apparel brands.

We’ll walk through:

• How to structure campaigns

• How to write copy that converts

• How to avoid wasting your ad budget

• And most importantly — how to turn ₹1 into ₹3 or ₹5 consistently

So, for now, that wraps up our overview of the Core Four Marketing Methods:

1. Warm Outreach – One-to-One

2. Warm Outreach – One-to-Many

3. Cold Outreach – One-to-One

4. Cold Outreach – One-to-Many (Paid Ads)

You now know what they are, when to use them, and why each one plays a role in building a real brand.

But we’re not done yet.

There’s still a bit more to cover before we dive into each channel in detail – especially the strategy, tools, and mistakes to avoid.
