Two things every clothing brand owner will face
Most people start a clothing brand without understanding product creation, sourcing, marketing, pricing, and brand building. This 100-day course is built to help you understand the path before you start working on it.
This course is created from the real experience of building and scaling Offnorth Fashions into a multi-crore clothing brand over the last 6+ years.
Let’s talk about something every clothing brand owner will face sooner or later – managing returns and exchanges smoothly.
If you’ve been in e-commerce for even a month, you know that handling returns manually is a headache. Endless back-and-forth messages, asking customers for their order details, explaining the process, it’s exhausting. That’s why having an automated system in place is a game-changer.
From my own experience, two Shopify apps stand out.
-
Return Prime and
-
EcoReturns.
I’ve used both.
Return Prime used to be my go-to; the features were great, the process was smooth. But after GoKwik acquired them, I noticed delays in support, so I switched to EcoReturns.
EcoReturns is good and reliable in terms of support, but in pure functionality, I still think Return Prime is slightly ahead.
If I could get the old Return Prime with better support, I’d go back in a heartbeat.
Here’s how these tools work.
-
You connect your Shopify store to the app’s portal.
-
When a customer receives their order and wants to return or exchange it, they can either log in to their account on your site or use a dedicated link (for example, this is Offnorth’s return link https://offnorth.ecoreturns.ai/apps/ecoreturnsai/).
-
They enter their order number and email address (or phone number), and the system instantly shows them their order history.
-
If their request is within your return/exchange window (7 days/14 days, something like that), they’ll see options to start the process.
-
They choose “return” or “exchange,” give a reason, and if needed, upload photos.
The request then appears in your returns dashboard. You can check the details and approve or reject them.
Once approved, if you’ve integrated the app with your shipping partner (like Delhivery or Shiprocket), it automatically generates a return shipping label, sends the customer an email or WhatsApp notification, and handles tracking all without you lifting a finger.
If the return window is already closed, the system simply won’t let them place a request. They’ll have to contact you directly through your support channel, which keeps things controlled.
The beauty here is that it makes the entire process hassle-free for both you and the customer – and it keeps your brand experience consistent even when something goes wrong.
